Math Magic!
You know how we all have different traits that make us different than those around us -- some of us have brown eyes and some of us have blue; some of us are artists, some of us are athletes.  Numbers have special qualities to them, too.  Here's some magic to consider:

1. Write down any four digit number where the digits are consecutive.  For example, the number 4,132 has the consecutive digits 1, 2, 3, and 4.
2. Re-arrange the digits of your number to make the largest number possible.
3. Re-arrange the digits again to make the smallest number possible.
4. Subtract the number in step 4 from the number in step 3.
5. Repeat these steps again two more times, choosing different numbers in step 1.

What do you notice about the differences in step 4?  Cool, huh?
