Question of the Week #4

Congratulations to Jose C., Isabel K., Gabby R., Camille R., Mike S., and Douglas S. for submitting answers to the Civil War question last week.  We will draw one name in class for the winner of the prize -- either Beavers or Ducks wrapping paper!

This week, I want to challenge you to find the area of the shape below.  You all know how to find the area of rectangles, so I trust you're up for the challenge!  Be careful, though, this one takes some thought.  Good luck.  As always, answers are due Friday (12/11) at 3:30pm.
