Math in Art Week ~~ Website of the Week ~~ maryburgessart.com

To get an idea of how math is used in art, check out the website of the week. (Ms. Burgess teaches high school art and happens to be the wife of our own Mr. Willing!) We've been doing tessellations (also called "tumbling blocks"), and to see an example of tessellations in art, look at the links for "Pysanky" under the Gallery page. Incredible art!
