Science students: If you want to begin some animal research during Spring Break, feel free! You will need to do a report (that we'll put online!) on five different animals: 2 invertebrates (simple invertebrates, arthropods, mollusks, and echinoderms) and 3 vertebrates (fish, amphibian, reptile, bird, and mammal). You'll need to include the following elements in your report:
- Common name and scientific name (Genus species)
- Physical description (including size)
- Range (where is it found in the world?)
- Habitat
- Diet
- Behavior and Adaptations (tricks or methods the animal uses to survive)
- How it reproduces
- Relationship to people
- Status (common, rare, threatened, endangered?)
- Other cool information (ancestors?, change of range?, farmed?)
