We've finished up our study of plants, and we have one kingdom left -- animals. This will be one of our longest units because animals are classified in many groups, and they are fascinating! To get a glimpse of the different groups of animals, click here. We will begin with invertebrates, which include insects and mollusks such as clams and squid, and move into vertebrates where we will study fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals. I encourage you to begin making a list of animals that you are interested in, as you will be studying many different animals for your portfolio projects. There are plenty of them out there!
